RGE, Inc. is a privately owned Indiana Corporation based in Danville, Indiana - about 15 miles west of Indianapolis. In 1997, RGE, Inc. was formed from a startup partnership of two IT guys. I use that term because although we had official titles from the HR department, the job function consisted of anything and everything that had to do with the software, security, databases, email, online access, and what have you... if a wire was connected to a computer - that entire system was our responsibility. The "IT Guy" is that person who is asked (way to often) "Were you here all night?", and before given the chance to respond, is promptly advised of some other computer problem which needs attention. If you know the feeling, you know who started RGE, Inc. I digress... Since our inception, we have been key on simplicity because the complexities of that system we "IT Guys" are all trying to maintain and keep running efficiently are already complex enough. The last thing we need added to our workload is yet another system to manage and maintain just to make sure that we get notified when there is a situation on the current systems. We just want an application, with a lot of power, that keeps an eye on what we tell it to watch and let somebody (usually us) know when an issue occurs. To keep things simple, we have provided standard run-time licensing, free technical support, and free maintenance updates to all of our customers. For major version upgrades, we provide upgrade discounts. Simple. Our focus has been to create a software product that customers can evaluate completely, purchase with ease (in part or in whole depending on the features they need), requires minimal technical support, design it for an intelligent customer base, and make absolutely sure our customers are satisfied with their purchase. We have done this the only way we know how; through a quality product, affordable price, and efficient customer service. RGE, Inc, has been going strong for more than 10 years which is a direct reflection on our product, services, and business ethics. Our customers are the brightest and most technical savvy in the industry who regularly wade through tons of hype and marketing buzzwords to find the solution to a problem. While we can't provide you with a way to eliminate all of the potential problems you might encounter, we do offer the methods of being alerted and notified about the problems when they might occur.
