Syslog Notification Allows you to send a Syslog message to a Syslog server containing textual information. You can also configure the message type (Facility / Priority) for proper action by other utilities that monitor the Syslog. There just isn't much to be said about a Syslog alert - very simple, very straight forward. If you want notifications sent to a Syslog server, IPSentry can do it.
