This is the same error being returned by the aforementioned forum thread.
That query will need to return some data since the add-in is going checking for at least one value (a single row with at least one column) if the query is not marked "Execute Only".
In order to accomplish this, the query needs a result value that can be checked and returned from the query.
Precede your full SQL command with a return variable declartion such as "<% TCOUNT %>...
