Currently we are running a couple hundred monitors on IPSentry. Some entries only need to be checked every hour and some need to run as fast as once a minute (many entries are in between these extremes as well). Using the Cycle frequency I am able to manipulate how many times it actually runs a check on certain monitors. However, the cycle frequency does not noticeably increase performance. An average scan takes anywhere from 2 to 3 to finish (including generating statistics). Even with every single entry suspended, IPSentry takes 2 minutes to...
