IPSentry - Information - Environment Variables
The following system environment variables can be used to modify some
functionality of IPSentry. These are entries that were at one time very
specific requests from customers or used in internal development testing.

Causes IPSentry to NOT log item failures to the eventlog. |

IPS_SUPPRESS_STARTUP_DETAIL |

Suppresses the display of the username in the startup banner. |

Sets the name of the font used in the IPSentry display console. |

IPSTERMFONTSIZE |
a font size |
The font size of the font use in the IPSentry display console. |

IPSALWAYSPOLLFAILED |
TRUE | Replaced by the "Ignore Poll Frequency" option. |
|
NOIPSICON |
TRUE |
Eliminates the animation of the IPSentry system tray Icon. |
|
SMTPTIMEOUT |
number |
Override the smtp server timeout in seconds. (default = 60) |
|
IPSUSEICMP3 |
TRUE |
Uses the 4.5.x ICMP-Ping method. |
These variables are for testing and very specific usage only.
Items noted a 'not recommend' are NOT recommended since they override possible
updated code.
