How-To: Add a new device to be monitored.

IPSentry provides monitoring for a virtually unlimited number of devices. (Obvious limitations with regards to time do exist and we do not recommend exceeding 1000 devices on a single monitoring station).

Adding a new device is quite simple:

1. From the IPSentry active display console, select Options from the Edit menu.
    

2. Select the Server/Machine Monitoring tab.
    

3. Hit the Add button.

That's it. You are now ready to begin configuring the new machine.  Additional help on the field values and other various configuration options exists within the help system to assist you with the remainder of the process.
